Step 1: Contact

When we receive our first contact from you, either via email or a phone call, we will find out about your project and communicate how we work. We discuss our current schedule and when we could start on a new project. Then, we set up a meeting to get to know each other and to learn more about your property and what you would like to do.

Step 2: Proposal

We will send you a written proposal for the first phase – the design of your landscape. This will include a detailed scope of work and a cost range for our design services. If you accept our proposal, we will then schedule your project.

Step 3: Design & Budget

Each project is unique. Some projects are a tune-up; some projects are "start from scratch." The size of the project/property also impacts the time that is involved in the design process. A good rough estimate is two to four months, including the budget review. We believe that early, frank discussions about budget are important. They allow us to be both creative in our approach and not stray too far from your budget range.

Step 4: Construction

From our detailed budget, you will be able to track the progress of your project and watch your landscape take shape. We will move through hardscape construction, soil preparation, irrigation, lighting and plant material installation. We will incorporate our knowledge of water-saving techniques and money-saving programs offered by local water districts.

Step 5: Maintenance

We will offer our maintenance services to insure that your new landscaping continues to thrive in years to come. We understand that you will want to protect the investment you made in your new landscape, and we will provide a program tailored to your needs.
